An English solid silver fusee men’s pocket watch with silver chain and key.
The pocket watch features an attractive solid silver dial with gold Roman hour indication. Detailled floral engraving around the centre f the dial. Great combination with the blued steel ‘spades’ hands and detailled decentralized seconds hand.
The silver case shows few signs of wear. Sturdy lids which close properly. Great condition knowing this piece is a 150+ years old.
The watch originates from the city of London and was made in the year 1863. (hallmark letter I)
The chain-driven fusee movement runs smoothly.
The balance bridge is hand engraved with a floral pattern.
The pocket watch comes with a silver chain which is tested and hallmarked. Including winding key.
