Highly reminiscent of the Omega Chronograph CK2907 we find this stunning Tissot 808A from the 1960 to be one of the finer vintage chronograph watches produced by this brand. A triple signed attractive chronograph with some further described collectible features here below.

Description

Well preserved mat silver dial with Tachymètre indication featuring the old Tissot font signature.
Another attractive feature of this particular example is the original Alpha hour and minute handset as well as three Alpha sub dial hands Creating a ton of character in comparison to the more common baton hands we find on this reference. Concentric sunken sub-dials.
Warm tone patinated lume plots next to the hour markers. Scratch free plexi crystal.

The two-body case is sturdy. Screw down case back with some signs of wear due to regular use.
The steel case remains unpolished retraining its original edges and bevels.

This watch is powered by the legendary Lemania caliber 1281 a.k.a the Omega Cal 321 used in all pre 1969 Speedmasters.
The movement is clean and runs with fine accuracy, chronograph functions operate perfectly.

Fitted on a 60s non Tissot vintage steel ‘oyster’ style bracelet.
