Verge Fusee London Pocket Watch – 1800s

A large silver pocket watch in two sterling silver cases.

The white enamel dial shows two chips at the bottom, no further hairlines or cracks. Gold spades hands and the classical black roman hour indication.

The outer case has a repaired hinge as shown in picture number 7. Clear hallmarks showing us the case was made in London by ‘JD’. Original scratched bulls-eye glass.

The verge fusee movement has a wonderful carved and hand engraved balance bridge with the face of a ‘troll’. The movement i signed London and runs smoothly.

Comes with a winding key.
