Description
A fusee verge escapement pocket watch from 1851, London, made by Josh Mansfield.
A lovely savonet type with strong lids.
The pocket watch is in good condition.
The white enamel dial still looks very good, no flaws to be seen. With the original gold ‘spades’ hands.
The case has a dent in on of the lids, not disturbing. Multiple times sterling silver hallmarked.
The fusee verge escapement watch is clean and runs well and smoothly down its whole fusee chain.
The hand-finished balance bridge features a ‘troll’ head. Comes with wind up key.
