Audemars Piguet 20 Dollar Coin Watch Ref. 5610BA

Extremely rare and hard to find; an all original gold 20 Dollar Liberty USA coin watch by Audemars Piguet, reference 5610BA. These coin watches have experienced an astounding uprising in today’s vintage watch market by demand and value. Not many examples have surfaced the market in the past decades. This ‘coin’ watch stands as a rare illustration of the Swiss watchmaking sector’s prowess in both exquisite horology and inventive incorporation of vintage elements. Scroll down to read more.

The watch remains in an original well preserved condition. The coin has never been polished, indicated by the sharpness of the detailed ribbed coin edge. The secret lever has been incredible well incorporated becoming almost invisible to the naked eye (see macro shot).
The front lid will jump open when the lever is pushed.

The minimalistic dial features an AP Geneve signature at the 12 hour position and long thing lines to indicate the hours.
The dial shows some minor discoloration as can be seen in the pictures.

The case, ingeniously made out of two antique gold 20 dollar coins, remains in good condition with normal expected signs of use such as light scratches.

This coin watch is powered by the ultra thin Cal. 2003/1 movement (Ebauche Frederic Piguet Cal. 21).
Movement has been serviced by our watchmaker in June 2024 and runs well.

This watch comes with 12 months of guarantee on mechanical defects, just like all other watches we have available for sale unless stated otherwise.
