Description
Exceptional 1970s vintage Audemars Piguet cocktail watch in 18 carat white gold with opal gemstone dial, factory set baguette diamonds and diamond baton hands.
In our opinion this is one of the fanciest, most extraordinary vintage Audemars Piguet ladies watches produced, the complete overal look and feel are unparalleled.
The condition of the watch is marvelous. No flaws of any kind, no deep scratches, dents or polishing.
Most importantly, the most fragile part of this watch is immaculate; the gemstone dial shows no blemish or faults of any kind.
It is safe to say this watch has only been worn a couple of times throughout the past 50 years.
The bezel is set with 20 rather large baguette cut diamonds, creating a spectacular appearance together with the color- and playful opal dial.
A rare sight in the world of horology is the fact that both the hour and minute hand are solely made out of diamond.
The watch houses a back winder 18 jewels caliber which has been checked by our watchmaker and is running with fine accuracy.
A fine watch that doesn’t surface often, let alone in an execution and condition like this.
The watch is accompanied by a green leather AP service pouch.
Circumference: 15,4cm to 15,8cm (two different closing positions).
