Description
Superbly well preserved Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ref. 25730 in gold/steel.
The ref. 25730 is considered to be the big brother of the ref. 4100, due to its somewhat more imposing character caused by the three complications. Although the dimension of 36mm between the two references are similar, the watch thickness is not.
This rare and attractive reference is one of most pristine examples available at the moment.
The immaculate dial with its famous grey tapestry pattern shows no discoloration or signs of use throughout. The dial features the likable old style AP signature without captions. Small lume filled hour indexes and an applied AP logo at the 12 hour position.
The case and bracelet, as you can see, remain in perfect and undamaged condition. Both have undergone a professional factory repolishing. The bracelet has all links present and will fit up to a 18,5cm wrist.
Bracelet has little to no stretch and remains remarkably stiff.
The 25730 is powered by the cal. 2229 with a quick-set date function. The dual-time zone can be adjusted in the third (screw down) crown position.
The watch is accompanied by an original Royal Oak box and the original Dual Time booklet, as well as an AP service box.
