Description

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Royal Oak in 1992, Audemars Piguet assigned the talented young designer Emmanuel Guiet with the redesign of the iconic Gerald Genta creation. However, due to production challenges, the launch of the new Royal Oak Offshore spinoff line was delayed by a full year, making its debut in 1993.

This 25807ST Offshore model showcases a black dial adorned with Audemars Piguet’s iconic ‘petite tapisserie’ pattern. The dial incorporates two rectangular openings just below the brand’s signature, revealing the day and month, while a centrally positioned hand gracefully indicates the date along the dial’s periphery. To accommodate this innovative pointer-date feature, the seconds hand has been thoughtfully relocated to a dedicated sub-register at the six o’clock position.
