Description
The condition of the watch is superb. No dents, deep scratches or nicks in the bracelet or case. This watch has not been worn much in its 60 years lifetime.
Mesmerizing finish on dial, case and integral bracelet.
Cool rectangular shaped case with facets going down from all sides.
This rare dress watch is housing the ultra thin and rare Cal.2003 movement with a thickness of just 1.64 millimeters.
The movement owes its extreme slimness to a flat hairspring, hand winding, and a small barrel with 36 hour power reserve thanks to slow 18,000 A/h oscillation.
The only flaw, which you most likely already saw on the pictures, is that the AP logo on the clasp is missing the left leg of the letter A. Could be fixed by an experienced goldsmith but we think that’s a decision for the new owner of this piece.
All with all a spectacular and one of a kind dress watch in stunning condition by Audemars Piguet.
