Description
Why it stands out:
– Matt black military dial.
– Perfectly aged and intact lume.
– Quirky asymmetrical case.
– Exemplary condition.
– With possibly original 1970s nato strap (?)
What you should know:
– Scuffs and scratches (in our honest opinion still within minimal margins)
General information:
Superbly preserved 1970s example of the classic asymmetrical-cased CWC military chronograph. Overall in excellent and fully authentic condition, retaining its original pushers, crown, and fixed lug bars (with no signs of soldering or repair). The broad arrow mark is visible below the centre hands, with the circled “T” above—indicating the use of tritium, as commonly marked on British Army-issued watches and those of other NATO forces.
The watch is currently fitted with a new brown leather side nato strap, but also comes with what we believe to be its original 1970s nato strap, showing appropriate signs of wear. The Valjoux 733 movement runs with fine accuracy, and all functions perform exactly as they should.
We believe this to be the finest example currently available on the market when it comes to CWC chronographs.
