Description
For many people this watch is considered to be aesthetically gorgeous. The black/gold combination is simply so so good, especially since it is a rare Heuer Carrera chronograph.
The matte black dial has sunken subdials with gold Arabic lettering. this example has the short gold/black baton hour indication. The T Swiss signed dial indicates this watch has Tritium spots and hands. There are no flaws to be seen anywhere on the dial.
The gold-plated case is praised by collectors since it is impossible to polish this case. It is a guarantee that this watch has not been polished since the case would loose its plated coating. On the edge of the lugs there is some minor wear to be found. Original big gold plated Heuer crown and round pushers. The stainless steel screw down case back bears the Heuer-Leonidas signature.
The infamous Valjoux Cal.72 movement is highly collectible and to be found in multiple high sought after chronographs from premium Swiss brands.
Currently on an Omega ‘beads of rice’ bracelet which fits spot on. Additional aftermarket leather strap included.
