Description

Equipped with a monopusher mechanism based on the renowned Lemania 2220 movement, this timepiece features substantial proportions, a matt black dial, syringe hands luminescent with tritium, ensuring exceptional legibility. Its robust and asymmetric case design lends a contemporary appeal.

The dial proudly showcases the distinct broad arrow symbol, denoting its affiliation with the British Military, along with the ‘T’ sign, indicating the presence of tritium on the dial and hands. Engravings on the caseback include the designations “0552” (Royal Navy code), “924-3306” (watch model) and “3973” (service number).

Lemania served as a supplier to various military forces and official organizations. Their watches, and at times, their movements alone, were provided to nations such as Czechoslovakia, France, Sweden, Rhodesia, and Australia, among others. Complying with the stringent British requirements for issued timepieces in the post-World War II era, Lemania’s military chronographs stood as remarkable creations, their heritage steeped in a proud military tradition.

The example offered here remains in superb and unrestored condition. The black luminous dial is immaculate (any spots/scratches showing in the pictures are dust or marks in the crystal).
Compared to other models around, the case of this watch shows little signs of use except for some superficial scratches.

Movement and chronograph function working as they should. Keeping accurate timing, watch comes with a 12 month guarantee on mechanical defects.
