Description
The condition of this watch is outstanding.
The lume filled cathedral hands, as well as the art-deco lume filled hour indications, remain in flawless condition.
Lovely little detail with the seconds window shaped the same as the tonneau case.
The detailed case is 14K white gold plated giving the watch just that extra bit of glance.
The case shows very little wear with all the niello intact.
The high grade Cal.10.40 movement is clean and runs well on time.
The archives of Longines tell us the following information; “the serial number 4’910’108 identifies a Longines mechanical manually wound movement, caliber 10.40. It was invoiced on 24 October 1929 to the company A. Wittnauer Co., which was at that time our agent for the USA.”
All with all a breathtaking and very rare piece by Longines in exceptional condition.
Please note we handle an 24 hour purchase/shipment processing policy as all our watches are located in a bank safe.
