Description
Gilbert started his career at Patek Philippe during the 1950s (ref. 3424 as one of the most notable designs) and went to Omega in the 60s to continue his work on creating an unique line of cocktail watches for the Swiss brand.
This presented 1969 example showcases a square case seamlessly integrated with a meticulously crafted floral-patterned bracelet.
Remarkably well-preserved, the watch remains untouched by polishing on both the case and bracelet, preserving the original artistry of Albert Gilbert as intended.
The champagne-colored dial is elegantly appointed with baton hour markers and an applied gold Omega logo, while the clean Caliber 485 movement performs flawlessly, ensuring accurate timekeeping.
The bracelet clasp extends the intricate engraving of the bracelet, further adorned with the iconic Omega logo. It offers three adjustable closing positions, allowing the owner to easily choose the fit for their wrist.
Accompanied by a rare Tiffany blue Omega case.
