Description
Exceptional piece by Patek Philippe.
This reference 972/1 pocket watch displays a power reserve indicator.
The condition of this watch is almost impeccable (pictures give a very clear image of the true condition of this example).
The design of this timepiece is sublime. The elegant yet very eye-catching dial display never fails to amaze those who hold the watch in their hands.
Golden Arabic hour indication, leaf hands and a train track minute indication.
The strong case is made of 18 carat yellow gold. Some very light superficial scratches as we decided not to polish this watch.
The case back bears an inscription of the name Michel Berty, a filantropic man who lived an interesting live (more to be read about this man’s biography on the internet).
Upon request we can remove the inscription as we have close contacts with one of the best goldsmith in the world. This would be on our costs.
The movement is a piece of art on its own. The pictures tell more than a thousand words but if you want to know all about this caliber, please visit the Patek Philippe website as this watch is still available at the PP boutiques around the world (a retail price of 44.000$).
This watch runs accurate on time and has been careful examined by our watchmaker. The watch comes with a 24 month guarantee on any mechanical defect.
Comes with a Patek Philippe extract from the archives.
Please note we handle an 24 hour purchase/shipment processing policy as all our watches are located in a bank safe.
