General information:
The watch remains in honest well preserved condition with the most important and collectible aspect in striking condition, the dial. We find facetted ‘arrow head’ markers as hour indication along facetted dauphine hands. The textured dial along with the aesthetically pleasing serif depth writing gives the watch a close to its nature vintage subtle wrist presence.
The case shows some signs of a light polish yet remains its thick lugs and uncommon flat case side which we only find with a handful of references (as the vast majority of Oyster cases boosts a curved case edge).
The Cal. 1030 movement remains clean and runs with fine accuracy. Both the serial and reference number (137.xxx) are a bit vague yet legible with the naked eye. Later strap and buckle.
