Description

This all original time piece dates back to the 40s, produced for the English soldiers in the Second World War.
To find an example in a condition like this is quite uncommon, even more so because the ones that are in the original and unblemished condition like the one offered here have often found their way to a collector who is seeking the best possible twelve examples to complete his/her ‘Dirty Dozen’ collection. The matt black dial shows the Arabic hour indications, broad arrow symbol and Timor signature to have turned in this likable smokey white colour.
The luminous ‘pencil’ hands are still full intact and have acquainted a lovely orange patina with all present lume plots in the exact same colour. The stainless steel case with stepped bezel has a matt finishing with all lugs in sharp and unpolished state indicating this watch has not been worn much throughout the past 80 years. Screw down case featuring the famous broad arrow logo and the correct military serial numbers.
Original big winding crown and antimagnetic dust cover present. The Cal.6060 movement is clean and runs with fine accuracy.
The movement has been checked by our watchmaker and comes with a 12 month guarantee on mechanical defects. The watch is fitted on a brown suede nato strap matching the beautiful patinated colour of the lume.
