The wristwatch has aged better than most things from 1983. It still has its full set, so the paperwork, the box (and outer box), booklets and extra link all stayed together for more than forty years. Its condition is exemplary: the gold still catches the light, the octagonal bezel is crisp, and the whole watch looks as if it could have left the Venetian boutique last week.
