The Omega Constellation is part of a celebrated line known for its precision and chronometer-certified movements. Introduced during the 1960s, this model represents Omega’s focus on accuracy and design during a peak era for Swiss watchmaking. This particular piece is distinguished by an unique no-lume dial featuring the portrait of Bahrain’s former ruler, Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, produced as a special order or diplomatic gift. Making this example even more exceptional, the dial is set with diamond hour markers, adding a layer of luxury to an already rare and historically significant watch. The combination of the diamond indices with the portrait of Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa highlights the watch’s likely role as a special presentation piece, further distinguishing it from standard production models. It reflects Omega’s global reach and the brand’s ability to tailor its watches for specific markets and occasions. In the watch world, it’s a quiet handshake between heritage and history—where craftsmanship meets culture. This presented model is accompanied bits original box and an Extract of Archive indicating the watch was originally delivered to Bahrain in 1961.
