The dial is, in our opinion, the real showstopper here. We love its minimalist design: the old-style applied Rolex logo, the thin minute track, the long blued-steel centre seconds hand and the warm, matte eggshell finish. The long, pointed baton hour markers add to the somewhat cooler feel of the watch.

The case is unpolished, with both the Rolex crown and the serial number perfectly legible on the case back.
