Description
You’ll notice that the Breitling logo has been replaced by a stamp from Kronometer Stockholm of Sweden, a renowned watch importer and retailer. Best known as an agent for Breitling, they played a key role in distributing the brand’s chronographs. Much like a Tiffany-stamped Rolex, the dial of the Premier Ref. 734 features their logo, making it a distinctive and collectible piece.
This example shows a glossy black dial with luminous Arabic markers and three sub windows for seconds, minutes and hours. The dial shows some signs of wear corresponding to its age, see pictures.
The watch remains in unrestored authentic condition with an unpolished case featuring some attractive details such as a subtle double cut bezel and facetted lugs.
Brushed snap on case back with serial and reference number stamped.
The Cal. 178 Venus chronograph movement, always used by Breitling for their ref 734, remains in good condition. and keeps accurate timing.
Fitted on a later vintage steel ‘beads of rice’ bracelet.
