Description

A gorgeous timepiece of Eberhard & Co, model Pre Extra-Fort chronograph.

This sturdy example (as they all are) has the white enamel dial with black ‘obelisque’ style hands and markers. The red accents of the centered ‘slug’ Tachymetre indication and the 1km Telemetre in the outer edge gives this almost a century old piece a modern look. The enamel dial shows no hairlines or flaws.

The stepped case is made from brass and is 20 micron gold plated. Throughout the years this have worn a bit off and is therefore not as shiny as she was originally meant to. The case shows scratches and wear but feels strong and authentic.

The Cal.16000 movement, which has been used for quite some time by Eberhard, really tells the age of the watch by its size. The movement itself is 35mm big. High grade movement with column wheel and eye-catching big red rubies. Runs smoothly, as does the chronograph function.

For those who are not familiar with this watch the chronograph buttons can be confusing. The top pusher starts, stops and resets the chronograph function. The lower pusher is a slider which locks the upper pusher.

Comes with an aftermarket nato-strap.
