In our opinion by far the best execution from the 1950s LeCoultre Futurematic series. The gilt black dial with horn lugs makes this timepiece a very desirable watch. Scroll down to read more.

Description

A very well preserved example of the collectible LeCoultre Futurematic.

The black glossy dial with gilt signature shows little to no signs of use.
Gold applied hour markers with a smaller surface filled with lume above.
All four hands present are original and have not been replaced throughout the years.

The 10k gold-filled case shows no surface wear and gives the watch a strong feel.

For those who are a little less familiar with this model, the LeCoulte futurematic has no winding crown. Instead, the watch has a wheel on the case back which can be shifted to set the time. This watch can not be wound by hand, but solely gain power from the bumper automatic movement by the movement of the wrist.

The Cal.497 movement runs good with great accuracy.

A stunning watch with an unique feel by a top Swiss brand in astounding condition, especially compared to other examples offered online.

The strap and buckle are aftermarket.

Please note we handle an 24 hour purchase/shipment processing policy as all our watches are located in a bank safe.
