Description
The watch remains in full original condition with both the dial and the case in unrestored/unpolished state.
Extremely good example of one of the finer Seamaster models Omega made in the 50s/60s.
The sought after crosshair dial is set with applied golden hour markers and applied Omega logo.
This so called ‘6-liner’ dial shows an unusual amount text because of its chronometer movement and the fact it was imported in France adding the extra line of ‘Fab Suisse’. A personal favorite is the authentic early 50s serif font that was used to write the Seamaster line.
Strong and heavy case with beefy lugs which has been stamped with three Eagle heads (french hallmark for 18 carat gold) as well as the Omega stamp signature in the inside case back.
The clean Cal. 354 Chronometer bumper movement runs with great accuracy.
Accompanied by its rare original Omega Automatic Chronometer red leather box! (please note the box shows wear and tear around the hinges)
New gold plated Omega buckle and an aftermarket strap.
