It’s not easy to come across an Omega triple-date moon phase in such honest, unrestored condition. Yes, the watch shows aging and seems to be worn quite some days in its past 80 years, but we appreciate this kind of watch so much more over a restored example. This reference is known for its poor water resistance, and as a result, many examples suffer from heavily damaged dials that later on have been refinished. Here, the dial remains original, displaying a subtle patina that adds rich character. It retains its original handset and French date wheels. The case shows the expected light scratches from wear, but no noteworthy flaws. Inside beats the Omega Caliber 330 — a manual-winding movement with 17 jewels, running at 18,000 vibrations per hour. The movement runs well, and all quick-set functions operate flawlessly. Fitted on a very nice vintage stainless steel bracelet.
