Omega Ranchero CK 2990 – Extract from Archives

The reference 2990-1 is the only Ranchero ever made since the sale of the watch was not doing to good back in 1958. Therefore not many of these are around, let alone a white dial example in a condition like this one. Scroll down to read more about this watch.

Description

The dial has a warm subtle patina without any big spots or discoloration. The patina of the triangle indices has turned slightly The lume filled minute hand and ‘broad-arrow’ hour hand are fully intact. Please see the macro-shots to get a better idea of this stunning characteristic dial.

The royal size of 36mm is another plus for this eye catching low key Omega watch. Strong stainless steel case bearing the Omega signature and the reference number on the inside case back. The bezel shows a small dent near the 9 hour mark.

The Cal.267 movement is clean and runs accurate on time.
Please note that the strap and buckle of this piece are aftermarket.

The watch is accompanied by an extract from the archives indicating this example was delivered in France and sold on the 2nd of February, 1959.
