As most would agree, the dial is the true showstopper here. In its immaculate condition and with the soothing tones of both the base and the writing, we believe this watch offers an appeal rarely found on other pieces.
The serial and reference numbers between the lugs show some wear from the bracelet end link. Using a magnifying loupe, both numbers remain legible, though reading them requires some effort. The serial number 3.125.xxx dates the watch to 1972. The Caliber 1570 has been inspected by our watchmaker and runs with fine accuracy.
The watch is fitted with a later strap paired with a gold-plated Rolex buckle. It is accompanied by its box and booklet.
