Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1802 in Yellow Gold – 1973

8,900

The Rolex Day-Date 1802 in yellow gold offers a quiet kind of distinction, especially in this 1973 example with its smooth, polished bezel. Its champagne sunburst dial pairs elegantly with the warm case tone, catching light in that way vintage Rolex dials often do. The Spanish date and day discs add a subtle layer of charm, hinting at the watch’s original market and lived history. Unlike the more common fluted-bezel variants, the 1802’s clean bezel lends the piece a refined, almost minimalist presence on the wrist. The proportions remain timeless, showcasing Rolex’s restrained design language of the era.
