Description
The condition of this watch is outstanding. An 130 year old piece that looks like it has been worn only a couple of times.
The white enamel dial shows four sub-dials, each representing another function.
All functions work as they should, as well as the quick set options.
No serious flaws to be found on the dial except for a light scratch.
The dial has a classic design which is very well balanced.
Eye-catching in combination with the fancy gold hands which have been set with a diamond like piece of glas.
The moon phase disc shows no discoloration or fault which is quite often the case.
The solid silver case bears a ‘guilloche’ pattern which is still clearly visible. In the centre we find a coat of arms shield surrounded by floral engravings.
The inner lid has an attractive engraving of its complication. Both lids are solid silver and close tightly.
The movement is clean and runs strongly with a solid tick.
