Description

The silvered sun-burst dial features applied golden hour markers and applied V&C logo at the 12 hour position.
Thin golden baton hands and a centre sweep seconds hands working very well together with simplicity and elegance from the total overall look.
The dial remains in complete original and almost new condition.

This timepiece features a rare type of case which VC only used for this reference.
The sturdy case is made out of 18 carat yellow gold. The royal size and beefy lugs result in a heavy watch with a worth to mention wrist presence.
The screw down case back is signed by the maker and stamped with the reference and serial number.

Inside we find the alluring caliber 1071/1 with golden rotor, fine regulator, adjustements on five positions and stamped with two Geneva seals (Poinçon de Genève). Finished with ruby rollers guiding the winding rotor and a stunning clous-de-Paris gold oscillating weight (usually reserved for watchmakers eyes only).
This was one of the finest movement available at the time. Exceptional finishing throughout, made out of the highest standards within Swiss horology.
The movement is as clean as a whistle and runs with fine accuracy.
